Before Booking

Deposits are required when booking a charter but may vary depending on the type of charter set up. Customers are encouraged to inquire about the deposit requirements before booking. Please see our cancellation policy here for more details about your deposit.

We accept all major credit cards, cashier checks, and money wires for payment.

We only offer private charters. Therefore, the quote or estimate provided is for the whole boat, not per person.

Our trips start at 8 hours and can go as long as you would like. The duration of the charter can be customized and tailored specifically to your desire(s) upon booking.

We are limited to up to 6 passengers for our boat due to coast guard regulations, but there are some exceptions for specific excursions. Please inquire about larger parties. Our charters are kid-friendly and happy to cater to bachelor parties, team building, corporate, fishing tournaments, birthdays, and wedding parties.

After Booking

Most charters go out rain or shine. A member of our crew will contact the guests prior if the weather is questionable.

Your private charter will meet and depart at the location outlined in your reservation.

Wear whatever you like. Soft-soled shoes are recommended. Guests are allowed to bring a backpack or an overnight bag on board, and they can store them in a dry and secure area of the boat.

Yes, Bella Vita is equipped with (2) clean and operational bathrooms onboard.

Try to avoid any foods that could upset your stomach and drinking too much alcohol the night before and the day of the charter.

Guests should bring any food and drink they would like for their charter unless your reservation is set up to include catering. We also recommend bringing a camera, towels, sunblock, hats, sunglasses, and comfortable layers for changing weather conditions.

Customary gratuity for a hardworking crew is 15-20%.

General

Our boat is up to date with the latest Coast Guard requirements and safety equipment.

Avoid arriving at the boat hungover. If you have a tend to get seasick, please look into different motion sickness medications designed to take before your charter.

Besides the activities offered onboard your private yacht charter, which may include things like swimming, snorkeling, or paddleboarding, your crew may arrange for you to enjoy SCUBA diving, jet-skiing, parasailing, and beach bonfire, and many other things. Let us know if there’s something you’d like to have arranged in advance of your booking.

Captain will remain on board overnight.

Usually, we can extend the time on board, but check with the captain for availability.

Yes, it is easy to get on and off. However, if you require special arrangements, please notify us ahead of time, and we will be happy to help.

Yes, there is nothing quite like napping on the Gulf. If you are sleepy, there are numerous chairs, couches, and beds on board.

There is plenty of indoor space where you can be dry and still enjoy all the sights.

If the crew deems the water unsafe, your cruise will be rescheduled or refunded.

No experience is needed. Our crew will assist in every aspect of your excursion.

Regulations

Illegal drugs, contraband, fireworks, handguns, weapons, knives, or GPS/Loran type devices.

Alcohol and beer are allowed on board for clients over the age of 21.

No, smoking is not allowed on any Coastal Yacht Charters vessel.

Cancellation Policy

Each charter booked has a unique and specific cancellation policy. Please read the cancellation policy in your confirmation after booking. If you do not agree with the cancelation policy after you book the charter, please notify us immediately. Below are the typical charter cancellation policies for Coast Yacht Charters.

Standard Day Charters

A specified deposit amount is required at booking depending on the excursion booked with the balance due the day of the trip. There is a 72-hour cancellation policy. If a cancellation is made 72 hours prior to the departure day and time, the deposit will be refunded in full to the customer. If a cancellation is made within 72 hours of departure day and time, the customer will be billed the remaining balance of the cost of the charter, plus any catering and add-ons. Canceling due to inclement weather is up to the discretion of Coastal Yacht Charters. If the captain cancels due to weather, the deposit will be refunded in full less catering and add-ons.

All sales are final.

Luxury Overnight Charters

50% deposit required at booking. Balance due 14 days prior to departure. If a cancellation is made 14 days prior to departure date and time, the deposit will be refunded back to the customer. If a cancellation is made within 14 days of the departure day and time the customer will be billed the remaining balance of the cost of the charter plus catering and add-ons. Canceling due to inclement weather is up to the discretion of Coastal Yacht Charters. If the captain cancels due to weather, the deposit will be refunded in full less catering and add-ons.
